I’m 83 and my husband is 90. We have some physical limitations, but we certainly aren’t ready for a nursing home. Personally, I hope I never will be! If I become totally disabled and dependent, I would prefer to depart this planet. Independence and human dignity are more important to me than a few more months of existence in a nursing home, especially in the age of coronavirus.
