I’m looking at a private boat trip around the Seychelles for a small group, but I’m having trouble figuring out which charter format would fit us best. We would like to spend a full day on the water rather than rush through several short stops, and having a skipper sounds more practical than handling everything ourselves. I’m mainly trying to understand what options are available for different group sizes and whether catamarans or motor yachts make more sense. If anyone has planned something similar, I’d be interested in how you narrowed down the choices and what details you checked before making the booking.

For Seychelles marine holidays, I recently came across https://charterclick.sc/ while comparing private sailing opportunities. The site shows different yachts and catamarans, with guest capacity, charter duration and options involving a skipper, so it gave me a clearer starting point than simply searching for boats by name. I also liked that the choices cover day trips as well as longer charters. If you already know roughly how many people are going and how long you want to stay on the water, it seems fairly easy to compare the available options there before deciding which type of trip fits the group. That makes the planning process feel more manageable.

I think the main thing is to decide what kind of day you actually want before choosing a boat. A smaller group may care more about having enough space and a relaxed route, while another group could be focused on snorkeling, fishing or simply spending time at sea. Looking at the number of guests, the charter length and whether a skipper is needed seems like a practical way to reduce the options. Once those basics are clear, comparing the different boats should feel much less confusing, especially when everyone in the group has slightly different ideas about how to spend the day. It is easier than trying to judge every yacht from photos alone.
