I've been meaning to share this for a few days now because I know there are plenty of Infiniti owners in this forum who've probably been in the same boat as me, dealing with that slow crank and wondering when the battery was finally going to give out. Mine finally died on me last Tuesday morning right outside my apartment in Downtown Dubai, which was incredibly inconvenient timing because I had a meeting at the office in twenty minutes and my car was completely dead. I called a few places and honestly the quotes I was getting were all over the place, some guys were quoting prices that seemed way too high and others were suspiciously cheap which made me nervous about quality. I ended up going with a mobile service that was recommended by a colleague who drives the same model Q50, and the guy showed up within about forty minutes which I thought was pretty reasonable considering the traffic in that area. He tested the old battery, confirmed it was completely shot, and had the new one installed in maybe fifteen minutes while I waited in the lobby. I specifically asked for an AGM battery because I've read that Infinitis perform better with those, and the fitter seemed to know exactly what I was talking about which gave me some confidence. The best part was finding a quality Infiniti battery service in Downtown Dubai that actually knew these cars and didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary stuff. The car starts up so much quicker now and all those little electrical glitches I was having with the infotainment system have completely disappeared. Just wanted to put this out there in case anyone else is hesitating like I was, honestly should have done this weeks ago instead of ignoring the warning signs.
