Solid list. One practical angle for founders: when evaluating a Grocery Delivery App Development Company for dark store ops, treat the “four-panel” requirement (customer app, courier app, dark store management, admin) as a hard filter. Many vendors propose only the storefront and leave fulfilment logic as an afterthought.
A few scoping questions that help early:
How does inventory sync in real time between picker actions and the customer app to avoid out-of-stock cancellations?
What’s the approach to order batching and dynamic rider allocation, since delivery economics depend on it?
How does the architecture handle demand spikes (festivals, promotions, bad weather) without breaking SLAs?
On the vendor side, Developer Bazzar is also a good company to consider alongside the ones listed worth checking if they demonstrate depth in dark store workflows and not just a generic grocery UI.
Finally, model running costs (maps/geocoding, payments, SMS/push, real-time infra) against realistic order volumes before signing; thin margins in quick commerce mean these line items matter more than most quotes suggest.
