    • Rentgrow credit inquiry?

RentGrow is a company that offers tenant screening reports to property managers and landlords. These reports are essentially background checks that include various categories of information.
RentGrow, Inc. is considered a consumer reporting agency (CRA) in the tech-driven consumer data industry because it produces and sells consumer reports, specifically RentGrow screening reports. RentGrow, as a CRA, is subject to federal and state legislation, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), which aims to protect consumers. This legislation directly affects your rights in a RentGrow dispute.

It is important to note that when you are denied by RentGrow, the decision is made by the property manager or landlord, not by RentGrow itself. RentGrow's client (the property manager or landlord) establishes the parameters that result in a RentGrow application denial. Although RentGrow algorithms determine your credit risk level, it is important to note that the evaluation of your data is based on the client's parameters, which can be highly customised.

How Does RentGrow Conduct Background Checks?

RentGrow conducts background checks by obtaining your consent for screening and personal identifying information, such as your name, birthdate, and social security number, from the property manager or landlord. We then use algorithms to gather data related to various categories of information (see below for more details). The information is filtered through a process meant to eliminate irrelevant, wrongful, or unreportable data, and a report is generated.

Where does RentGrow obtain their information? Each RentGrow report is created using the information you provide on your rental application to your potential landlord or property manager. The report includes data such as the RentGrow credit report, RentGrow credit score, RentGrow criminal history data, and RentGrow rental history data. This information is obtained from external sources, including credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) and rental-related subsidiaries operated by these companies.

If you have a Rentgrow credit inquiry on your credit check report, it is because an inquiry was made with the intention of you entering a lease. This type of inquiry is reportable. Legitimate inquiries cannot be removed from your credit report. If you did not authorize a RentGrow inquiry, you can dispute this error and seek correction.

    • Reports from Experian

I’ve sent several dispute letters to Experian and still have no answer and decided to sue https://stonesmentor.com/how-to-file-a-lawsuit-against-experian/ them for their reporting. All of that is because upon reviewing my credit reports from Experian, I discovered inaccuracies in the reported information. These errors include incorrect account information and erroneous late payments. These inaccuracies have severely impacted my creditworthiness and financial standing, leading to unwarranted challenges in obtaining loans, securing favorable interest rates, and even affecting employment opportunities. Is my decision a good one? Can it affect in any negative way my credit history?

    • Hireright report

Hireright reported me as being on a 1 year probation which I never had, and also fIled to include a recent court disposition where my case was dismissed and instead reported the previous disposition showing case was still open with misdemeanor charges and this got my fired from Uber after 8 years and 4.94 star driver record. As I know, an attorney might help in such case, because they deal with credit and background errors. I found these guys https://consumerattorneys.com and I’m wondering if they really helped you. Is there any other way to get my job back?
